So, you’ve probably noticed that my shop at Pixels & Company is… missing.
Exactly a week ago today, along with 13 other designers at the site, I tendered my resignation from P&Co with a proposed closing date of November 30. The idea was to make all of our departures from the site as seamless, shock-free, and simple as possible for the customers who have supported us over the past year or two. Unfortunately, all 14 of our shops were closed down the same evening we announced our resignation.
First and foremost, I apologize for “disappearing in the dead of night.” It was certainly not my intention. If you have a coupon code for my shop that you planned on redeeming before this happened, please know that I will of course honor it in my new shop as soon as it opens in a couple of weeks.
Similarly, if you made purchases from my shop in the past few weeks (over DSD weekend, for instance), you will still be able to download your products through the end of this month (thru Nov 30), according to P&Co’s owner. If you have any trouble with that or run into any unforeseen problems… please don’t hesitate to shoot me an e-mail at wishingwellcreations [at] gmail [dot] com and I will get you taken care of ASAP.
Meanwhile, if you want to follow me to my new digital home… you’ll be pleased to know that all 14 of us have decided to stick together and build ourselves a brand new site in the wake of these events. We’re very fortunate that not only do 3 of us have web development backgrounds, but 2 of our husbands also happen to be back-end site programmers — and as such, I anticipate that we’ll be up and running in almost no time at all. Right now, my best projection is that you’ll be able to check out the new site by Black Friday (?). *fingers crossed*
To stay in the loop, you can sign-up for the new shop’s newsletter HERE and you can follow its new Facebook page HERE.
If you have any questions or need anything from me in the interim, please don’t even think twice about letting me know. My greatest frustration with this situation is the feeling that my amazing customers are being inconvenienced — and I will happily help remedy any issues you’re having, if at all possible. Let me know!
